Alia Bhatt pushes away rumors of dating Siddharth Malhotra

Being young, attractive and famous is great, but all of this does come with a price. One of the cons of fame is the rumors that attach themselves as baggage and follow one around. Lately, newcomers Siddharth Malhotra and Alia Bhatt who made their debut in Karan Johar’s Student of the Year have been subjected to a bunch of rumors that state the two to be dating. While none of have been proven true, Alia and Siddharth have also denied the gossip linking them together and the reports of them dating.

And that’s not all! Alia has also been stated to have been angry with actress Esha Gupta’s closeness to Siddharth Malhotra. The Razz 3 star has connected well with Siddharth and apparently young Alia is extremely displeased about the fact! Well, these aren’t the only rumors that have been surrounding these promising newcomers. Alia has also been stated to have been dating her second co-star, Varun Dhawan. Of course, this isn’t true either and the actress articulated her indifference to the gossip sprouting up saying, “I don’t really care about people discussing my personal life. I’m fond of Varun and Sid (Siddharth Malhotra) but no I’m not going out with either. And no, I have no boyfriend in Bandra. A boyfriend doesn’t really fit into my scheme of things right now. My boyfriend is Student of the Year.”

Alia Bhatt will next be seen in Karan Johar’s film adaptation of the popular bestseller, 2 States, written by author Chetan Bhagat. The actress will star in the lead alongside actor Arjun Kapoor.
